Our story
From a Single Oven in Hazratganj
In 2012, Sundar Prakash Srivastava bought one second-hand oven and set it up in a twelve-foot kitchen near Hazratganj. His rule was simple: nothing leaves the counter unless his own family would eat it. The neighbourhood queue started in the first week.
Fourteen festive seasons later, Sundar Bakery runs five outlets across Lucknow — but every morning the first tray of malai bread still comes out at 6 am, and the first slice is still cut for the staff before any customer is served. Because tehzeeb isn't a decoration; it's how you bake.
